Welcome to the August-September edition of Pinellas’ favorite community news magazine, published and distributed monthly from October to May and bi-monthly twice each summer.
Paradise News supports arts, culture and entertainment and we’re thrilled to have Zubrick Magic Theatre on our cover this issue. We hope you will support our arts coverage by voting for us in the St. Petersburg Good Burger awards Sept. 5-Oct. 10 at www.paradisenewsfl.com/good-burger.
When Paradise NEWS began in December of 1995, a goal was set to make each issue better than the prior one. Looking over the almost complete August-September edition, even we are impressed with how far we have come from those early years. We have an incredibly talented team that work independently to produce their contributions to each next edition. We also have a wonderful, growing, loyal group of advertisers who should get most of the credit for collectively bringing you the Paradise News everyone loves to read.
Many Paradise NEWS readers have decided to sell their homes and downsize to a nearby retirement community, or somewhere away from the beaches. In June, we introduced Sandy Bartow, a realtor with Sotheby’s who has assembled a team to help smooth that transition. Sandy’s correct phone number is 678-859-3922. Aging with dignity is a big issue these days and in this issue on page 26, we introduce you to services designed to help with that, including visiting and live-in companion services.
We are especially excited this month to present our first Home Improvement section which we hope will become a growing every issue feature in Paradise NEWS. We want to particularly welcome our new full-page advertisers, Air 24/7, and Ambry Design, remodelers for any space, highly rated general contractors with a factory and showroom in Largo.
