The Gulfport Merchants Chamber is pleased to announce the start of a new tradition in downtown Gulfport – the Fourth Saturday Fresh Market, featuring the makers, growers, butchers, artists, and artisans you already love at our Tuesday market.
For years, we’ve heard people tell us they love Gulfport’s Tuesday Fresh Market, but get frustrated that they can rarely attend because of their job. We get it – we love our jobs, too, but sometimes work schedules don’t let you enjoy everything you’d like.
Well, if that’s the case, we have great news: At its July 20 meeting, Gulfport city council approved the Gulfport Merchants Chamber of Commerce’s request to hold a market on the fourth Saturday of the month, starting this Saturday (July 24.) You’ll see some familiar faces – many of our Tuesday vendors will be there on Saturday – so come on out to herald in this great event. (And don’t worry, Gulfport’s Tuesday Market will continue – we’re adding to the fun, not taking away from it!).
