MFA’s Painting in the Park Reimagined

The MFA’s annual arts event is connecting with the community in a new way! This year, in lieu of painting in the park, we’ve assembled 500 art kits to give away to 500 kids across St. Pete, allowing them to experience the art at the MFA in a fun and creative way. The kits are focused on four paintings on loan from the Art Bridges foundation, and include lesson guides, art-making supplies and a family pass to the MFA. To distribute the kits, we are proud to partner with the Dr. Carter G. Woodson African American Museum, Cultured Books, Brookwood Florida, NOMAD Art Bus, and others. A select number of kits will also be distributed outside the MFA on April 24 from 10-11:30 am.
