The Chowder Challenge is back and looking for competitors!
The 7th Annual Chowder Challenge is back on November 7th, 2021 from 1:00 to 5:00 pm at Horan Park.
This fundraiser for the Veterans of South Pinellas County is a chowder and soup cook-off with the area’s best chefs and restaurants. In addition to a military induction ceremony and salute to the veterans, there will be live music, beer and wine, raffles, and a silent auction!
Visitors vote for their favorite to win People’s Choice while a panel of chefs determine who wins Best Chowder, Best Non-Chowder, and the best overall for the acclaimed Golden Ladle.
This event always has an impressive lineup of over 20 competitors and we expect to bounce back stronger after this past year! We are looking for more chefs and restaurants to join in on the fun!
