16th Annual Gulfport Pink Flamingo Home Tour

COVID-19 has made the world topsy turvy. Why should the Pink Flamingo Tour be any different? Although we hope by March 6, 2021 most pandemic restrictions will have been lifted, nobody knows for sure. So the committee that organizes Gulfport’s favorite springtime event tweaked it a bit and presents:
Gulfport’s 16th Annual Pink Flamingo Tour … of Gardens
Saturday, March 6, 11 am to 5 pm.
Unlike traditional Pink Flamingo tours, this year we’re staying completely outdoors, which makes distancing so much easier. We are also not limiting the tour to one neighborhood; you’ll have the opportunity to stroll through yards and gardens throughout the city.
Registration will take place at the Gulfport Rec Center, 5730 Shore Blvd.
Feel free to go at your own pace, seeing properties in any order. Unfortunately, we will not be able to provide transportation, so we ask visitors to bike, scoot or carpool. The tour skims Gulfport’s waterfront district, so there will be plenty of time to take a lunch break or shop in our historic downtown.
Masking and social distancing will be enforced, and hand sanitizer will be plentiful.
