A Message from the director of The Dali:
As a critical part of our area’s creative ecosystem, we are delighted to announce our reopening plans! We will reopen to the public beginning July 1, with new Museum hours.
We believe the arts are a necessity for a rich life and a passageway for transformation. Art can bring together a community, help us reimagine it and arm us with the will to make it better, which is perhaps now more important than ever. We’ve designed a safe environment and abundant displays of art by Dalí to inspire and empower all who visit.
Our dedicated team has put in place numerous measures to protect visitors, staff, members and volunteers. Below is a summary of these health & safety steps; you may review more details here:
- Timed ticketing reduces crowding, coupled with a unicursal flow throughout the galleries.
- All staff and visitors are required to wear face masks.
- Temperature checks via thermal cameras will take place prior to entry; we will ask anyone with a temperature above 100.4 to visit another time.
- All payments are touch free + we will now accept credit card only (no cash handling) to minimize contact.
- Plexi screens are installed at every visitor service station.
- Hand sanitizers are placed throughout the Museum, plus increased disinfecting on all high-touch surfaces.
Online tickets will be available for purchase the week of June 22. Museum members will have a special preview Wednesday, June 24-Sunday, June 28. Learn more about Dalí Museum Membership, including free unlimited admission, parking opportunities, and Café & Store discounts.
Please be on the lookout for continued updates, and be sure to explore The Dalí Museum Online as a source of inspiration until our doors reopen.
We are delighted to reopen and once again welcome guests to the Museum that we have painted, polished and scrubbed, to safely experience our unparalleled collection of Dalí works.
With our best,
Hank Hine
Director
