After investing almost $5 million in capital improvements & renovations, the Post Card Inn On The Beach (PCI) is like a bride after the ceremony and photos, ready to  greet her guests.

The retail space out front was redeveloped by the property owners, TPG Hotels and Resorts, matching the look and feel of the Postcard Inn.

This redevelopment offers a fantastic space for businesses to offer goods and services to guests of this property and others up and down the beach, as well as to locals.

The exterior of the resort has been upgraded with new roofs, new windows and beautiful new landscaping, new furniture on the beach, new drapes/sheers, 55” televisions in the pool side rooms, full pressure wash and painting of the entire property, all new railings, parking lot resealed and striped, and all new linen are among the major improvements to the property. A brand new elevator has been installed to the resort’s second floor to an award winning event space complete with balcony overlooking the shaded green area between the hotel and the world famous sands of St. Pete Beach.

Free parking is reserved for locals at the resort’s new coffee shop, P.S. Grind, which is open and proudly serving locally-roasted Kahwa® coffee along with freshly prepared donuts, pastries or over-stuffed breakfast sandwiches. The ideal spot to energize your day is a must-visit before exploring all that St. Pete Beach has to offer. Get your first cup compliments of PCI with a coupon on page 11 of this issue.

The open dining space flows into the lobby space, allowing one to find a comfortable nook to read while sipping or munching on a pastry or salad.  If open air is what you’re looking for, you can step out to the balcony looking over the gorgeous green spaces facing the beautiful sandy beaches on the Gulf.  WiFi is available for guests while sipping the best local brew with a view.  Stamps, the brand new lobby bar at the Postcard Inn on the Beach, is also an open dining concept. It is an inviting, relaxed and mid-scale casual food and drink area.

The Stamps lobby bar bistro style menu was written with a variety of impressionable food and drink items without intimidation. Stamps lobby bar has great crafted classic cocktails and no pinky up needed wine list. They serve a full menu from 4-9pm, 7 days a week and are sure to become a hit with locals. As you walk outdoors towards the beach from the lobby, near the gorgeous pool area with new outdoor furnishings, you’ll see an expanded tiki bar with a beach inspired food menu and additional seating.

There are 3 upcoming special opportunities for locals and visitors to see all the improvements.

  • Easter Sunday, April 21st there’s a free egg hunt at 11am for residents and guests with gifts inside the eggs provided by local businesses like Modern Optics, Sunset Beach Shop, Alligator Attraction and more.
