The City of St. Pete Beach is turning 60 in 2017 and they are celebrating their way through the decades. The celebrations will kick off on Elvis’s birthday, JANUARY 8, 2017 with a Sock Hop to celebrate the 50s at the Community Center from 1-4pm. They will rock their way to the 60s on MARCH 4, 2017 from 9a 4pm at the annual Island Festival at the Gulf Beaches Historical Museum in Pass-A-Grille. They will salute our Veterans on MAY 6, 2017 70s style at Horan Park from 11-5pm in partnership with the Veterans of South Pinellas. On JULY 9 ,2017, they will celebrate 60 years at a champagne brunch at the Don Cesar Hotel. On OCTOBER 6, 2017, they will rock our way through the 90s at the kick-off concert for the Friday night October concert series in Horan Park from 7-9pm. The City will end the year-long celebration on DECEMBER 1, 2017 at the annual tree lighting/ boat parade viewing party in Horan Park from 6-8pm.
