Book Club at the MFA focuses on the Women’s Suffrage Movement

Meet new people, keep up on new book releases, and gain new perspectives at the Museum of Fine Art St. Pete’s Centennial Book Club. The MFA is partnering with Tombolo Books in 2020, diving into the 100th anniversary of the women’s suffrage movement and so much more. The Centennial Book Club will focus on women authors, artists and activists, and is sure to engage in lively discussions on topical issues and themes universal to all.

Cross some resolutions off your list by joining MFA’s new book club. Everyone is invited. They meet the 2nd Thursday of the month from 6:30 pm – 7:30 pm.

The first books of our Centennial Book Club in 2020:

• January 9The Women’s Suffrage Movement, an intersectional anthology edited by Sally Roesch Wagner with a foreward by Gloria Steinem

February 13: A Wild and Precious Life, a posthumous memoir by celebrated LGBTQ icon Edie Windsor

• March 13: Optic Nerve by Maria Gainza, the English-language debut of a major Argentinian voice in the art world
