SPAA News In its ninth year, the St. Pete Arts Alliance 2023 Individual Artist Grant Program has awarded four artists $5,000 each, providing them the freedom to create without worrying about funds or limiting their imagination. Recipients are Tricia Lynn Bush – Multi-Media Arts, Sheila Cowley – Literary & Performing Arts; Tiffany Elliot – Visual Arts, Polita Glynn – Multi-Media Arts.

Java Artist SPAA and Kahwa Coffee announced the fourth artist in the collaboration that supports the building of the St. Petersburg Arts Endowment through the sale of art-wrapped coffee canisters. A lifelong Tampa Bay area native, Carrie Jadus is a versatile and accomplished artist who works primarily in oils. Best known for her figural and landscape paintings that range between realism and impressionism, Jadus is also recognized for her local murals “Awakening Bodhisattva” next to St. Pete’s Dog Bar, and “Last Call” at the Grand Central Brewhouse, among others.
