5 Ways to Support Local Courtesy of the Tampa Bay Beaches Chamber of Commerce

1- Buy Local!
Its that simple. When purchasing goods or services, check your local businesses first and make the purchase with them.

2- Share Your Good Experience Online
Whether it is a new spot you’ve tried or an old favorite, a good review on Facebook, Google, Yelp or even Next Door can really help local businesses when tourists or locals are looking for somewhere new to try. Even if its just clicking 5 stars, a couple clicks can go a long way in helping local businesses.

3- Refer Your Friends
Offer up your local suggestion next time a friend is looking for something, somewhere or someone. Brag about your great find in the group chat! Add a drool worthy pic to your Instagram story. However you do it, spread the word about your favorite local shops, salons, restaurants and businesses.

4- Up Your Gift Card Game
Next time you need a gift card, opt to go a bit more personal with a local gift card! You can get a spa gift card for someone who loves a good mani/pedi, a local restaurant gift card for an anniversary or even a gift card towards a fun local experience like kayaking or a fishing trip. The possibilities are endless!

5- Share a Thank You
Thank them for their investment in our local community. Local businesses are working hard right now to keep you and their employees safe while continuing to offer you the goods & services you love. Let them know how much you appreciate them and their efforts!
