1- Connect with a Local Yoga Studio
Local yoga studios are getting online to keep you fit and sane while at home. Check out your favorite studio’s Facebook page for upcoming live streaming events. Don’t have a favorite? Here are some suggestions for you to sample:
- Madeira Beach Yoga will have a ZOOM Yoga Happy Hour on May 1st
- The Body Electric has upcoming Facebook live stream classes here.
- Nava Yoga Studio has a selection of upcoming virtual classes here.
2- Go for a Run/Walk
Lace up those shoes, put on your mask and head outside for a walk, jog or run. Temperatures cool down slightly over the weekend making it a great time to get outside & exercise. If you act fast you can even join in on St. Pete Running Co’s #1MileYardChallenge or get in shape for their May the 4th Be With You Virtual Race May 4-6th. 3- Enjoy a Paddleboard or Kayak on our Bay Waters
If you’ve got it, why not dust it off and put it to use. Load your paddleboard or kayak onto the car and head out to enjoy some beautiful Florida sunshine. Make sure you follow all water and COVID-19 safety guidelines. Beaches remain closed. Learn more about where you can go here. Don’t have a board or kayak? Get a board & kayak locally at:

4- Go for a Bike Ride!
The Pinellas Trail remains open so you can still get out and enjoy a bike ride. Please note, outdoor activities must be done with social distancing of six feet and in groups of no more than 10 people from the same household.

5- Create a Workout that Works for You
If you aren’t comfortable or shouldn’t be venturing outside and don’t like yoga, we get it. There are lots of way you can stay active while at home.
