The deadlines to complete your 2020 Census and to register to vote in the General Election are both quickly approaching. Make sure you have filled out the 2020 census to ensure our communities get the political representation and federal funding for local programs they will need over next 10 years. Respond to the census by September 30th at 2020census.gov/. The deadline to register to vote in the November general election is October 5th in Florida. 2- Watch St. Pete Opera’s Artist Recital: Lucas Levy
St. Petersburg Opera’s Lucas Levy (Tenor) will recount his personal journey through song this Friday, September 25th. This online recital is the first in St. Pete Opera’s 8 part series. Levy has been featured in St Petersburg Opera Company mainstage performances: Gianni Schicchi, Tales of Hoffmann, Into the Woods, Music Man and La Traviata. $20/Person. Get your tickets here.
3- Join in the World’s Largest Ghost Hunt!
Join the World’s Largest Ghost Hunt with the Spirits of St. Petersburg! 2020 is Spirits of St. Petersburg’s third year participating in the event. Participants are encouraged to participate on an individual basis, but there will be a gathering at Mirror Lake Park on Saturday, September 26th 7-8pm. If you are too scared to join, they will be live streaming their hunt. Info
4- DillyDally with Dalí Virtual Arts & Crafts
Each week, kids 6-11 can discover the creative world of Salvador Dalí through live arts & crafts activities inspired by the Museum’s permanent collection and special exhibits. Materials for activities are generally flexible and include standard household items. This week’s craft is a floral fireworks print. Free. Info
