Each October, Tampa Bay Markets (TBM) kicks off a new market season with over 600 vendors participating in 13 different locations across the Bay area for its weekly and monthly market events.
This season, in support of the Hurricane Helene relief efforts and communities in need, TBM is partnering with Feeding Tampa Bay to create donation drop-off centers at each market location from October 5th through October 27th, 2024.
Each location will accept shelf-stable foods and fresh produce. Market-goers may bring their own donation items or also can purchase items from onsite vendors and directly donate goods at each event.
Items accepted include: canned foods, fresh produce, dry goods such as pasta, rice and beans, baking and cooking items, hygiene and cleaning products. Items requiring refrigeration or freezing will not be accepted. For complete donation guidelines CLICK HERE.

“During our planning for the upcoming season of market events the TBM team asked, ‘how do we become more than a market for each community?’ We established four pillars of engagement: Support, Wellness, Family and Sustainability. Our partnership with Feeding Tampa Bay is an essential component of Support for the communities we serve.
Other engagement initiatives for the upcoming season include Wellness events, such as Morning Yoga at the Kenwood Sunday Market St. Pete, Family events include our Market Scavenger Hunts and Pooch-a-Ween Dog Costume Contest and our Sustainability initiative will roll out in early 2025. We look forward to serving all in our community with our 15th season of fresh markets and buy local events.”
