St. Pete Beach Parks and Recreation Department is excited to announce the highly anticipated Movies in the Park series, taking place every Wednesday throughout the month of June at the scenic Horan Park. This beloved community event invites residents and visitors alike to experience the magic of cinema under the stars, completely free of charge.
Movies in the Park will transport attendees to the golden era of 80s teen films, showcasing a handpicked selection of iconic classics. Starting around sunset time, approximately between 8:00 PM and 8:30 PM, each movie screening will captivate audiences until the final credits roll.
The upcoming movie lineup for the month of June is as follows:
– June 7th: “Pretty in Pink”
– June 14th: “Breakfast Club” – Embark on a transformative journey with five high school students from different social cliques as they bond during a Saturday detention, discovering the power of understanding and acceptance.
– June 21st: “Sixteen Candles” – Join Samantha Baker on her unforgettable sixteenth birthday, where hilarity and heartwarming moments ensue amidst the chaos of love and adolescence.
– June 28th: “Ferris Bueller’s Day Off” – Follow Ferris Bueller on his daring adventure as he orchestrates the ultimate day of freedom, demonstrating that life moves pretty fast, and you should stop and enjoy it.
