The 11th Avenue Fishing Pier in St. Pete Beach is closed due to structural concerns. Wood pilings, cross bracing and stringers are significantly deteriorated and no longer provide sufficient strength to safely hold the pier together.
As the City of St. Pete Beach continues to evaluate options for maintenance and repair, a date for re-opening the pier has not been set.
